No more water to Sol Feliz

Today we tried to bring the water to the fields from the Acequia del Medio. For two days the water trickled in, barely enough for a few trees and a row or two of garlic. It’s that time where we wait and pray for rain while cultivating the soil around our crops to give them an extra boost until the rain comes. We will carry water to key crops like squash, but other than that they are on their own…

If the water can’t make it down the Acequia del Medio to our lower fields, its not even worth trying to bring the water to our upper field via la Acequia Madre…
