Got apricots?

Today we also harvested about 5 gallons of apricots from a neighbors tree. We took them to the certified kitchen at chrysalis high school for piting, cleaning, and drying in a dehydrator. We filled nine racks in the dehydrator with the 5 gallons of apricots. They will dry for 8 to 12 hours and then we will do the next batch!  Maybe the students will want to sell you their apricots, or maybe they will just keep them for themselves!  But there are so many, we will likely be able to sell them and keep some!  Thanks to Cody (left), Ignacio, and Kiko for helping out with this harvest activity!
